Description
Polyethylene screw interface is used to connect polyethylene pipes to each other. The two ends of the interface are the same size as the pipe and are screwed to the polyethylene pipe. In general, all screw connections include the following components:
- Body
Spiral
Split ring
Bushing
Oring
Important points for installing screw rafters
Before installing any screw connection, completely smooth the ends of the desired polyethylene pipes (the cutting line of the pipe should not be crooked) and then clean it. Then install the connection parts on the pipe in order. Make sure all connectors fit properly before tightening the nut. To close the polyethylene screw interface, use a clamp with a handle length of no more than 46 cm so that it is not damaged and its joints are not corroded. You can also use standard Teflon tape to ensure the sealing of the connection.
